Goss is adapting its Sunday M2000 press to handle heavier stocks, with potential for printing packaging. The development is underway in a project for Cincinnati-based US Playing Cards, which will use the M2000 for printing decks of playing cards.

Packaging tooling firm R&D Integrated Solutions in Plastics has opened a ‘product solutions lab’ at its Sutton-in-Ashfield location in Nottinghamshire.
According to R&D managing director Alan Tolley, the new lab will offer a “full service from concept to tooling and manufacturing”.
