Mondi Packaging Wheatley is to become the group flexo printing following an expansion of the site and the creation of 30 new jobs.
The Scunthorpe site has been expanded by 2,500m² and a new 2,600m² warehouse has been taken into operation, leading to the creation of the new positions.

Amcor loses £30m bread bag contract to Bpi.consumer | packagingnews.co.uk

Amcor Flexibles is to cut around half the workforce at its Ilkeston site after Allied Bakeries moved a £30m bread bag-making contract to Bpi.consumer VMB.

Rio Tinto is selling Alcan Food Packaging Americas to US flexible packaging supplier Bemis for $1.2bn.
